I figured if nothing else, everyone can read .txt files. I don't have a ref/character sheet, since I've never done this before. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. :) However I figure a ref sheet is probably the best thing to get started with anything else. I have zero idea what "animal" I am, but I'm thinking an upright anthro rabbit/bunny would be fitting right now. I currently have long hair due to avoiding dealing with that during the pandemic, but I kinda like it, so it I'll probably keep it. However I think it could be a bit odd to have both added (long) "hair" and the large rabbit ears, so it might work well to have the ears flop down behind my head instead of going striaght up, perhaps pushed back by the headband. (More on that below / in the photos.) Since I don't have a ref sheet, I took some photos that hopefully can give some sort of guidance as to what I look like. My character doesn't need a beard, and think I'd prefer it not to, since I'd probably like the results better without given there's already an assumption of fur. (I did see this one had a beard-like coloring: https://twitter.com/Orlando_Fox/status/1429593728939872256 but it didn't appeal to me.) I do always have a beard though, but also unfortunately I let it go longer than normal. I did some cleanup before the second half of the photos. I am a bit above 5' 10" tall and around 260 lbs, if that helps inform shape, etc. I know my character doesn't have to look exactly like me, but some of the front would probably be fitting. I don't normally tuck in like that, but I figured it was the best way to show off shape without having to take anything off. As far as the accessories go, I wear the watch every time I go out, and the headband I've taken to wearing outside the house due to the long hair I acquired during the pandemic. Definitely don't worry about replicating the hairband rainbow. I always wear the same headband. My glasses are partly rimless but I think it'll likely look better just to have the frames go all the way around. I'd like the large front/back/side references to be clothless with the usual featureless safe for work front crotch area. Should probably have the headband though for the look, as described above. I'd like the chibis to have clothes though. Colors suggestions: As in the photos, I'm white but also ace and aromantic, so perhaps a white base with gray and black accents would work well. I do like green as a color, so the aro flag greens might work well as headband, glasses frame, or messenger bag colors. I don't need my character colors to follow any particular flag so the purple from the ace flag doesn't have to show up anywhere. Reference drawings: - Full body (4): - Front - Side - Back - Pose with t-shirt, (cargo) shorts, and maybe also a messenger bag (Should be OK?)... - Solid color t-shirts and shorts are fine (I don't do wild shorts or pants, see reference photos :) ) - I do software dev for a day job so a simple t-shirt might be some sort of generic symbol for code on it; could also save that for a chibi since it'd be easier to draw smaller - I also like board games, so a solid color with a meeple on it might work for a chibi t-shirt - Heads (3): - Happy - Bummed (Bit sad; no tears) - Eyebrow raised (kind of a "that's interesting" or "did I just hear that?" sort of thing) - Chibis (3): - Maybe moving a bit faster to get somewhere, clothed (if that works); A different outfit from the clothed full drawing but with the same headband would be nice - Standing relaxed maybe looking at something (could be "off screen"); repeat outfit OK - Sitting or standing, eating an unsliced bagel; I do like sun dried tomato bagels from a local shop, so that could inform some look or color there; repeat outfit OK Hopefully this is enough reference info, and not too much or overly constrained. I'll do my best to get back soon as I can if you have any further questions or clarifications. Seeing as I've never done this before, it's likely I've missed something or went too specific. :)
