Trip to Seattle for the Mini Maker Faire in the NW Seattle Center rooms
Trip to Seattle for the Mini Maker Faire in the NW Seattle Center rooms. There was less stuff there than I had expected, but it was billed as "mini". Some stuff was outside (thus free) but all the booths, tables, and presentations were inside. Several hackerspaces / workshop hangouts represented themselves, along with artists and various other groups.

Not pictured are the soldering tables for those who picked up assembly required kits, the speakers past the first, and whatever other cool stuff I forgot to photograph.

Having been asked what I thought was <b>the</b> coolest thing there, and the asker considering the "they were all equally cool" answer "bullsh*t", I think the roving self-balancing bots by Microsoft take that honor.
