Awards Various awards I have made or been asked to make. The brightly colored stack of acrylic are awards I made for scenecompos.net. They do small music competitions around themes with a set of rules several times a year. I decided it would be nice if there was something winners could actually receive, instead of a mere notice on the competition site. The first idea long ago was to do t-shirts, but that has issues (see the key fobs section of this gallery for details). It was later briefly discussed to give winners Nectarine key fobs (see the key fobs section of this gallery), but they were available for sale at the time and thus anyone who wanted one could buy one. Indeed many of those who had one in the past had already ordered one. In the end I took the image they used for a trophy from the site, traced it, and used it as the basis for the inside of the award you see below. Overall the awards are a bit simple and plain, but people seem to like them. The brown paper peels off, I left it on to protect them from marring, fingerprints, etc. during travel. I have been contacted to produce first-place awards for a demoparty, however as they have not been made yet (at time of writing) there are no picures to display here. They will be added later.
